Sean is one of the two principals of Noah’s Rule a specialist risk advisory and funds  management firm that he recently established with Michael Cooper a previous Head of Metals Trading and Director of NM Rothschild Australia Ltd.

 

Noah’s Rule was formed to fill what its principals see as a growing void between the strategic and operational needs of companies operating in environments where they are significantly exposed to financial and commodity markets and the hedging products and services they receive from their bankers and market counterparties.

 

The philosophy of Noah’s Rule is centered on the judicious use of hedging as a tool for harm minimisation and the base support for sound long term planning. As such Noah’s Rule  assists companies in meeting their medium to long term corporate objectives by focusing at a strategic level, helping them to better understand their likely risks, the tools available to manage those risks and how best to manage their relationships and interactions with their bankers. 

 

Noah’s Rules’ target customer base covers the full spectrum from start up companies to established companies seeking to examine their current practices or modify strategies relative to their current market and operating circumstances.

 

Prior to his departure from the Rothschild Group in April 2004, Sean was the Managing Director of Treasury and a member of the Executive Committee of NM Rothschild and Sons (Australia) Limited. In over twenty years of service with the Rothschild Group Sean gained extensive experience in the international bullion and financial markets working in trading, sales and management roles in Rothschild Group offices in Perth, Sydney, London and Singapore.
