Martin joined Hartleys (formerly Hartley Poynton) in May 1997. Prior to joining Hartleys, Martin worked for 6 years at County NatWest Securities in Sydney (now Salomon Smith Barney) firstly as a Resources Analyst and later as a Corporate Stockbroker.  Before becoming involved in financial markets he worked for Western Mining Corporation as a geologist.  

 

Since joining Hartleys, Martin has provided investment banking advice to a wide range of corporate clients. Martin has extensive M&A experience including takeover advice, asset sales and restructurings. Martin has also managed a diverse range of equity capital markets assignments principally in the resource sector.

 

Martin is a BSc. Hons. graduate of Melbourne University and holds an MBA from Murdoch University.
